The Science Nation Great Debate 2016: Unsung Heroes
You don鈥檛 have to be Einstein to know听that some scientists are more famous than others. will听shine the spotlight on the forgotten scientists of the past with听a debate tournament听to see who is the greatest unsung hero of all.听With additional rounds of improvised, audience-inspired, topics this Great Debate is 90 minutes of science & laughs that promises to be fun for people of all ages.
Debaters competing for glory in 米兰电子 include: ex-agricultural scientist and science communication researcher Dr Heather Bray; metaboloepigeneticist and comic Dr Hannah Brown; anthropologist and evolutionary scientist ; chemist, 米兰电子鈥檚 reigning Great Debate champion and the former face of 米兰电子 Noby Leong; marine biologist, science communicator and salsa dancer Dr Tullio Rossi; physical chemist and surface scientist Dr Andrew Stapleton; physicist, science communicator and Science Nation founder Dr Andrew Stephenson; and palaeontologist, RiAus Director and self-confessed train nut Dr Paul Willis.
When:听15th June, 2016
Time: 6:00-7:30pm (doors and bar open at 5:30pm)
Venue: RiAus, The Science Exchange, 米兰电子.
Tickets: $10 , $15 at the door.
