Structured and Chiral Light Fields for Interdisciplinary Science
The Centre of Light for Life, led by Professor Kishan Dholakia recently hosted "Structured and Chiral Light Fields for Interdisciplinary Science". The two-day workshop was a resounding success, brigning together international experts, including invited speakers from eight leading universities in Japan, such as Chiba University, Kyoto University, The University of Tokyo, University of Tsukuba, Osaka Metropolitan University, Tohoku University, Osaka University, and the Institute of Science Tokyo.
Among the distinguished speakers was Professor Paras Prasad from the University at Buffalo, as well as prominent Australian speakers including Associate Professor Kylie Dunning from the University of 米兰电子, Professor Halina Rubinsztein-Dunlop from The University of Queensland, and Professor Yuri Kivshar from The Australian National University. The event also featured presentations by Centre members Dr Ralf Mouthaan and Aman Punse, contributing to the depth and breadth of the discussions.
The workshop was marked by a strong turnout and lively discussions, providing valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and fostering international collaboration. Attendees also had the chance to tour the Centre's optics labs and Kylie Dunning's embryology lab, gaining insight into some of the exciting research being conducted at IPAS and CLL at the University of 米兰电子
