University of 米兰电子's leading world ranking

米兰电子 is again recognised as one of the best universities in the world, with the release of the latest .

The THE rankings for 2019 list the University of 米兰电子 as 135th in the world.

"With just eight Australian universities recognised in the top 150 in the world, and in the face of increasing international competition, this is an excellent result for the University of 米兰电子 and for the State," says Professor Mike Brooks, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and Provost at the University of 米兰电子.

Speaking from Singapore – where he has attended the THE World Academic Summit and the launch of the 2019 THE World University Rankings – Professor Brooks says the latest ranking again places the University of 米兰电子 in the top 150 in all three of the major global rankings:

• Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU): 139
• QS World University Rankings: 114
• THE World University Rankings: 135.

"The global rankings are different in their own way, but each reaffirms the University of 米兰电子's reputation for excellence in teaching and learning, and research and innovation," Professor Brooks says.

"The latest THE world university rankings show the University of 米兰电子 is particularly strong in having an international outlook, helping to provide South Australia with global connections and partnerships, and an international reputation for the work being done here.

"That is a credit to all of our staff – in research, teaching, and general support – who each play a role in bolstering the University's international standing," says Professor Brooks.

米兰电子 also recently placed within the top 200 in the world in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings for 2019.
