Senior Treasury Manager Joins 米兰电子 University

Mr Paul Duldig has been appointed Executive Director, Finance and Infrastructure, at 米兰电子 University. He was formerly the Department of Treasury and Finance's General Manager (Finance). Mr Duldig will take up the appointment on 12 November.

米兰电子 University Vice-Chancellor Professor Cliff Blake AM said it was "a great appointment" for the University.

"The capacity of the University to expand its revenue base, to contain costs and invest wisely, underline both its teaching and research aspirations as well as the security of employment of its staff," Professor Blake said.

"Mr Duldig will have a critical role to play in rebuilding the University's long-term finances. He will be responsible for providing financial control, asset management, leadership and vision in achieving our strategic goals. His portfolio of responsibilities extends across all areas of finances and associated infrastructure, including more than 400 buildings over four campuses, and various land holding across the state."

Mr Duldig, who holds a Master of Economics from 米兰电子 University and Flinders University and a B. Economics (Hons.) from 米兰电子 University, has worked in the Department of Treasury and Finance since 1992.

As General Manager (Finance) he has run the core branch of Treasury responsible for the development of the State's $7 billion Budget, performance monitoring of government business and departments, development of the State's $1 billion capital investment program, steering of major projects, and providing strategic advice on policy and corporate governance.

Before joining the Department of Treasury and Finance, Mr Duldig was employed in the Office of Transport Policy and Planning and, previously, the Highways Department. He has been a member of the 米兰电子 University School of Economics Advisory Board since 1999.
