The Classics discipline at the University of Ã×À¼µç×Ó will holdÌýthe C. Moraïtis Annual Hellenic lecture with special guest speaker Professor Julia Kindt (Sydney University) discussing her new bookÌýThe Trojan Horse andÌýOther Stories.ÌýTen Ancient Creatures that Make Us HumanÌý(Cambridge 2024), a study of humankind's relationship with animals, which Stephen Fry has described as producing "insights ... that are enthralling and profound"). This is a free public lecture onÌýMay 28, Napier G04, 7-8:30pm. The lecture is followed by a short prize giving ceremony for high-achieving students (Galatis awards).
